The ongoing situation at Signal Hayes Road/ Weaver Avenue Community Centre

£3.5million was paid by the developer to Birmingham City Council some years ago to build a community facility at Signal Hayes Road/Weaver Avenue as part of the new estate 106 money. This money has been ringfenced specifically for this purpose. Birmingham City Council will pay for the construction of the building, but not the running of the facility once it is built. There is a proposal that the council like, but this has not been made public yet. These are the documents we have.
